I have never used Flickr before, other than to have a quick look the occasional look thrown up by a link from a web search.
A mate from up North sent me a link yesterday to this guy’s pictures taken on and around the summit of Ben Loyal yesterday though, and I was honestly blown away. I then spent an hour or two looking at pictures of other summits in the area with a glass of this….

….in my hand (Monday night, naughty naughty) convincing myself that this summer I
would get fit and I
would start climbing them myself rather than just looking at them. Given that my most recent physical excercise was walking to the train station to pick up the car (left there as in unsuitable state to drive home) it may well be a while. We can dream.
Back to the photos though. They are absolutely incredible. I must confess to being a tad intimidated by Flickr folk though, who must be fairly spoiled given that these were posted in 2007 and the only comment is mine from yesterday.
Poor bloke probably wonders why he bothers.
I posted a couple of mine, as per the link
here, and expect a comment sometime around 2015. Telling me they’re shite, probably.
Check them out, honestly. Perhaps the three people, probably all family / colleagues who read this can also leave a comment for him. He deserves it.
